The phrase om telolet om literally means “Sir, honk your horn, sir”, and when bus drivers honk to produce the Telolet sound the children cheer in glee.
The initial uses of that sentence begins once a community referred to as Bis Mania shaped (Community that dependent on huge ass bus).
Bis mania community members in Indonesia come from numerous backgrounds, vary from recent man , teenager , girls and even kids . all of them have a interest group in massive vehicles particularly Bus.
When bus drivers hear children scream the phrase or notice signs that scan "Om Telolet Om" they respond by sounding their horn and everybody rejoices: Mission accomplished!
